Dr. Kristopher J. Feldmann

Dr. Feldmann, a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, moved back to his hometown of Washington with his wife in July 2013 and joined the practice in January 2014. With this addition, the office is open five days a week plus most Saturday mornings. Dr. Feldmann is a member of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association, the American Chiropractic Association, on the board at the Knights of Columbus Seisl Council #1121, the Rotary, and the Washington Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees). Dr. Feldmann is certified and licensed to perform acupuncture through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Feldmann and his wife, Jenna, live in Washington with their daughters, Abigail and Audrey, and love going to parks, partaking in the many activities downtown Washington has to offer, playing softball, volleyball, and exercising in general.

Services

Washington Chiropractic Clinic participates in many HMOs and PPOs. Services include chiropractic manipulation, acupuncture, pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, drug screens, electrical stimulation therapy, ultrasound therapy, and cold laser therapy.​

Chiropractic Manipulation

We help our patients ease their pain through gentle chiropractic manipulation to encourage motion in the joints of the spine that can contribute to your painful condition.

DOT Physicals

Dr. Feldmann is listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners for performing DOT physicals. The office is also certified in urine collection through the Department of Transportation for new hire and random drug screens. 

Acupuncture

Both Dr. Gerstein and Dr. Feldmann are both board certified and licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of Missouri! Acupuncture treatments consist of very fine needles being inserted into the skin to trigger a healing response in corresponding areas on the body.

 

Pre-Employment Physical

Pre-employment physicals are administered by either Dr. Gerstein or Dr. Feldmann. There are two options  of physicals: a general exam and a comprehensive exam. Call the office for more details!

Drug/Alcohol Screen

The office offers a 10 panel drug screen that looks for the presence of amphetamines/methamphetamines, cannabinoids (marijuana),  cocaine, and 7 other commonly abused drugs. There is also an alcohol screen option available.

Smoking Cessation

We use electro-acupuncture, which is a needleless, painless technique, to help crush those cravings! Included in the sessions is advice and other techniques to help you quit!

 

Cold Laser

Cold laser is cutting edge technology in pain relief. The laser pentrates deep into the tissues and energizes the cells that are responsible for tissue healing and decreasing inflammation. Even though we are working with lasers, the procedure is completely painless!

Electrical Stimulation

Electrical stimulation is used for pain relief, muscle relaxation, and decreasing edema in different areas of the body.

Therapeautic Ultrasound

Ultrasound is another pain relieving instrument that uses ultrasound waves to pentrate the target tissues to relax the muscles,  heal connective tissues (muscles and ligaments), and assist in pain relief.

It all started when…

Dr. Lawrence M. Gerstein, a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, started practicing in Washington in 1979 with Dr. Don Martin and has been here ever since, serving the Washington community, both inside and outside of the office. Dr. Gerstein has served on many chiropractic boards including the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Council on Chiropractic Education, Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. Dr. Gerstein is certified and licensed to perform acupuncture through the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Locally, Dr. Gerstein is a member of the Elks, the Lions, the VFW, and the American Legion. He also has served as the chair and head positions in many of these organizations. Dr. Gerstein lives in Washington with his wife, Joy.
